Experience

Working in a team of 12-15 people in ISSS, developing and maintaining management softwares for FPT Smart Cloud (part of FPT Corporation)

• Engage in full stack development (based on the Netbox open source software)

  • Tasks are tracked and assigned on Jira, while code is worked on a virtual machine accessing internal Gitlab instance

• Achievements:

  • Based on previous incomplete code, finish implementing the process of moving devices across servers

    • Process makes use of custom features in Netbox connected to other internal softwares

    • Implementation has been approved and tested on all levels including production

  • Test and document the process and guideline for importing up-to-date Netbox features and updates for different environments (dev, pilot, prod, etc) 

    • The process requires extensive testing on localized instances, testing deployments in Docker containers to simulate different environments and test migration processes, as well as noting conflicts and issues throughout the process
